What Customers Say About Bamboo (Small) Pen Tablet with Pen Only:

Much more fun than simply drawing with a mouse and Microsoft Paint (although you can use Microsoft Paint Software with this writing tablet). My creative Daughter (11 years old) loves this. She likes how you can doodle using brush stokes &/or pen strokes (using varying pressure) for almost endless effects. As a side-note, if you elect to purchase the less expensive package that includes Pen Tablet with Pen Only, the manufacturer (Wacom) will not include an extra CD containing drawing software. While you don't necessarilly require it, it is useful (and better, according to my Daughter, than Microsoft Paint).
It is a very nice unit for the price. I'm a computer programmer and use computers all day. I couldn't pass up trying this when I found a good deal on it and I'm glad I did. I'm not a graphic artist but for my purposes this seems to be a great fit. I occasionally use this to draw on photos and screenshots and it has worked well for me on Vista x64 with Photoshop Elements.
It took a few hours for me to get used to but now it's like second nature to me.The only downside to this table is that it DOES only have 512 pressure sensors so you can see the difference when using like a pen in software such as Photoshop. Found this product excellent. I use this for practically everything. This was my first Tablet and I love it. As long as your not doing heavy graphic design this tablet should meet all your requirements to it's fullest. One thing I want to point out that later I learned is that the pressure is not in the pen, it is all on the tablet. So if you think maybe you can get this one and then upgrade the pen for more pressure sensitivity, you will have to upgrade the tablet too.
Fantastic:- Intuitive- Setup is a breeze- High quality hardwareNo problems at all.
I just learned how to set the pressure sensitivity on PS4 which would have took me forever to figure out on my own. Be sure to install the driver. It takes a bit to get use to but this works great with vista and PS4. This review was written with the tablet running on Vista. Some of the functions work when you just plug it into the usb but that does not unlock all the functions. It is also worth while to check out some of the online tutorials on different sites with Photoshop. It recognized most of my messy handwriting. I am looking forward to learning how to use this better.
